When does the MultiVersus Open Beta end?
Beginning with Open Beta, MultiVersus will continue to get updated with new characters, maps, seasonal content, and more in the months ahead. An end date has not been set for the Open Beta.
Is the MultiVersus Open Beta free-to-play?
Yes. The MultiVersus Open Beta is free-to-play with optional in-game purchases.
What platforms will the MultiVersus Open Beta be available on?
The MultiVersus Open Beta will be available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, and PC (Steam) with full cross-play and cross-progression support across all platforms.
What content will be available in the MultiVersus Open Beta?
Players can experience a variety of characters, maps, and modes in the MultiVersus Open Beta, including:
- Characters: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Harley Quinn (DC); Shaggy and Velma (Scooby-Doo); Bugs Bunny and Tasmanian Devil a.k.a. Taz (Looney Tunes); Arya Stark (Game of Thrones); Jake the Dog and Finn the Human (Adventure Time); Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe); Tom & Jerry (Tom and Jerry); Iron Giant (The Iron Giant); LeBron James (Space Jam: A New Legacy); and an extraordinary original creature named Reindog. Please note, Superman, Finn the Human, Garnet, and Reindog are available to play now as part of the updated Open Beta preview rotation, replacing the Early Access preview characters (Harley Quinn, Shaggy, Jake the Dog, and Taz). - Modes: 2 vs. 2 team-based cooperative mode, 1 vs. 1 matches, 4-player free-for-all, 1-4 player local matches, co-op vs. A.I. matches, custom online lobbies, The Lab (practice mode), and tutorials – all offering different ways to play and experience the game.
Does player progression from Early Access carry over to the MultiVersus Open Beta?
Yes. All player progression and unlocks earned during the previous Early Access period carries forward through the life of the game.
What are the MultiVersus Founder’s Packs?
The MultiVersus Founder’s Packs include different levels of optional in-game content via the Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Editions. The Founder’s Packs are available now for purchase with real money through the PlayStation, Microsoft and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) online stores. Are in-game purchases available during the MultiVersus Open Beta and Early Access?

How is Gold earned in MultiVersus?

Does MultiVersus have a Battle Pass?
Yes. MultiVersus has a Preseason Battle Pass, which allows players to complete challenges and unlock in-game rewards. There is a free option open to all players and a premium option requiring an in-game purchase to participate. The Preseason Battle Pass is live now through Aug. 8, followed by a full Season 1 Battle Pass beginning Aug. 9, with more details to be announced in the coming weeks. All player progression and rewards unlocked from the Preseason Battle Pass will carry over through the life of the game.
Are items earned from a MultiVersus Battle Pass exclusive?
Items earned from a MultiVersus Battle Pass are not exclusive. There may be opportunities to unlock some of these items in the game at a later date.
Are there loot boxes in MultiVersus?
No. There are no loot boxes in MultiVersus.
