Scribblenauts Showdown Nintendo Switch Handheld Mode Controls

When playing Scribblenauts Showdown in Handheld Mode for the Nintendo Switch (meaning, the console has been removed from the Dock and both Joycons are attached to it), you can control the game and navigate menus using the Left Joystick and the Right Face-Buttons (X,Y, A, B).

While the game menu button prompts may show the Left Face-Buttons (up, down, left, right) in Handheld Mode, you should continue using the Right Face-Buttons (X,Y, A, B) to actually made selections in the menu.
